Welcome to Gather & Grow Nutrition, a pre- and post-natal online service by Dietitian and Nutritionist Heidi Sze.
I work with clients who are in the pre- and post-natal period of life. This refers to those who are hoping to conceive, those who are currently pregnant and those who have had a baby. You may be hoping to fall pregnant in the coming months or it may be a few years off, either way, getting your body ready for pregnancy is an important goal for optimal fertility and a healthy mum and bub. In terms of the post-natal period, whether you have had a baby recently or some time ago (and whether you have one or more children), I work to help ensure you are nourished and not depleted during your season of motherhood.
My name is Heidi Sze and I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist. I have a passion for helping people enjoy good food.
In my career as a Dietitian I have worked across a range of areas including hospitals, aged care, recipe development, corporate events and private practice. I also write the food blog, Apples Under My Bed, and am a contributor to delicious.com.au with a column in the health section.
At Gather and Grow Nutrition (and in my own life) I place an importance on eating wholesome, real food. I believe that when you nourish yourself properly and take care of your body with an active lifestyle, adequate sleep and with kindness to oneself, good health and happiness follows. At Gather & Grow Nutrition I aim to help you gather the information and skills you need to grow your knowledge-base and in turn, tend to your health and happiness. I employ a holistic, non-diet approach to wellness, encouraging intuitive eating and a healthy relationship with food. Gather & Grow Nutrition is located at 119 Tanti Avenue, Mornington, Victoria, 3931. I am available to see clients in person on Fridays. I also offer online consultations via Skype with more flexible appointment times.
